Black and Gold Patrol 2017 Season - New Orleans Saints (New Orleans, La)

The New Orleans Saints are looking for energetic, reliable and hardworking Saints fans to audition for the new 2017 Black & Gold Patrol, presented by Entergy! The Black & Gold Patrol is made up of enthusiastic men and women who work well with others and display the ultimate Saints spirit to get Saints fans pumped up at each home game by leading the crowd in chants, hosting contests and entertaining the best fans in the NFL!! Members may also play an integral role in community events in addition to the New Orleans Saints Game Day Experience.

Auditions will be held on from 12 pm – 3 pm on Saturday, April 22nd at the New Orleans Saints Practice Facility at 5800 Airline Drive.  (auditions are closed to the public and only those auditioning will be granted access to the facility). DESCRIPTION: New Orleans Saints Black & Gold Patrol members will report directly to the Director of Game Day Entertainment & Special Events. Team will assist in aspects of Saints Game Day Entertainment including on-field elements as well as pre-game, post-game and concourse activities. Staff may also assist with team events in the community.

PERIOD WHEN NEEDED: August 2017 – January 2018 (Full NFL season including play-off dates *if applicable) Dates are subject to change.

HOURS REQUIRED: Must be available to work all home preseason (2) and regular season games (8) as well as special events. (Hours may vary and aren’t guaranteed)

CRITERIA/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work 2 preseason home games and 8 regular season home games during the 2017 season. Game day availability is 3 and a half hours prior to kickoff and at least 1 hour after the game has ended.  Times are subject to change.
  • Must be energetic, reliable and hardworking.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing and able to work long, irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have reliable transportation as well as a valid driver’s license.
  • Must enjoy working with people of all ages, possessing strong team work skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

*Note that auditions will be held before the release of the 2017 Saints schedule. Preseason game days and times will vary (may fall Thursday – Sunday) in August/early September. Most regular season home games will be on Sunday’s with kickoff at Noon, 3:25 pm or 7:30 pm. There may also be a Monday or Thursday night (7:30 pm) game as well during the regular season (there is usually one Monday Night Football game each season).  Before auditioning, please keep those dates and times in mind to determine if you will likely be available for all Saints home games.

Sponsorship Analyst - New Orleans Saints and Pelicans (Metairie, LA)

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are looking for an analytical, dedicated problem solver to join our growing Business Analytics team and work with two professional sports franchises.  Enthusiastic, qualified applicants should be interested in supporting all areas of Sponsorship, including: sales proposal and recap research and assistance, customer relationship management (CRM) organization and system administration, market research, service support, scheduling, and relationship building, rate card optimization.

Reports to: Senior Director, Business Analytics

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with dynamic sales and recap proposal creation using Channel One Media content management tool
  • Develop sponsorship stories through season ticket holder and other demographic and preference datapoints
  • Use Scarborough data to identify prospects and supplement sales and renewal proposals
  • Provide data and insights to sales and retention teams to deepen partner relationships (year end recaps, etc)
  • Leverage Repucom exposure performance data into proposals and maximize its impact
  • Assist with CRM inventory structure, management, & fulfillment scheduling within Stone Timber River software
  • Rate card optimization analysis and benchmarking
  • Importing, tracking, and sharing of relevant Digital and Social media engagement
  • Conduct CRM new hire training, along with ongoing supplemental user training and adoption
  • Assist management team with maintaining updated and accurate sales and retention pipelines
  • Suggest ongoing CRM system enhancements with a focus on efficiency, usability, and workflows
  • Serve as point of contact for all internal sponsorship reporting and dashboarding
  • Handle all NFL and NBA league mandated reporting requirements
  • Harness CRM to increase level of in-season relationship building, support, and data sharing
  • Use CRM system to streamline coordination of game day efforts between sponsorship and Game Presentation
  • Design other surveys and conduct primary market research
  • Assist and support additional facets of Data Analytics department as needed
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-departmental interaction skills
  • Experience presenting sales proposals and/or client support fulfillment
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and data structure
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills with track record of detail orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Determined problem solver
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Scarborough market research software
  • Experience with customer relationship software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer 80% of the day
  • Must be able to get around arena to assist with sponsorship activation and sales during some events/gamedays
  • Working schedule/hours will ebb and flow with NBA/NFL schedules, and will include working some late hours, holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds for general office needs
